PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: April 17, 2026

1. Who We Are

TheVegasHub.com ("we," "our," "us") is a Las Vegas–based travel guide operated at thevegashub.com. We provide curated hotel, tour, and trip-planning content and earn affiliate commissions when visitors book through our partner links.

2. What We Collect

Information you give us: If you fill out our contact form or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the name, email, and message content you submit.

Information collected automatically: When you visit the site, we and our analytics provider (Google Analytics 4) collect standard web-server data — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL, and timestamps. This data is used in aggregate to understand site traffic.

Cookies: We use cookies for essential site functionality, analytics (Google Analytics), and affiliate link attribution. See our Cookies section below.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your contact-form messages
  • To send you our newsletter if you opt in
  • To understand site usage and improve our content
  • To attribute affiliate bookings and process commission payments
  • To prevent fraud and abuse

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

We share limited data with the following service providers, each of which has its own privacy policy:

  • Google Analytics 4 — for aggregated site analytics
  • SMTP2GO — for delivering contact-form emails
  • Brevo (Sendinblue) — for newsletter delivery (if you subscribe)
  • Booking partners — when you click a booking link, the partner site receives a referral token so we can attribute your booking
  • Vercel — our hosting provider, which collects standard server logs

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email us at our contact form.

California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA. EU/UK residents have rights under GDPR. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use three categories of cookies:

  • Essential — required for basic site function (session, language preference). Always on.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics to measure site usage. You can opt out in our cookie banner or by using a browser extension like Google Analytics Opt-Out.
  • Affiliate attribution — our booking partners set cookies when you click a link so bookings can be tracked to us. Blocking these will not affect your ability to book.

7. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 2 years. Newsletter subscribers remain until they unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained per Google's default GA4 settings (14 months).

8. Children's Privacy

Our site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent revision.
